Semmco Showcases Advanced Chocolate Machinery at Chocoshow Colombia 2025
At the three-day event organized by the National Federation of Cocoa Farmers (Fedecacao) and Corferias, Semmco showcased a diverse range of its flagship products tailored for the chocolate production chain, including automatic Tempering Machines, pouring and coating equipment, cooling tunnels, and stainless steel insulation tanks. These machines, known for their stability, energy efficiency, and adaptability to both small-scale artisanal workshops and large industrial production lines, drew significant attention from Colombian cocoa producers, chocolate manufacturers, and industry professionals.
Zhang Hairong, General Manager of Semmco, emphasized the importance of the Colombian market during the exhibition. "Colombia boasts abundant high-quality cocoa resources and a thriving chocolate industry with great potential for modernization," said Zhang. "Our equipment, which covers the entire bean-to-bar production process, is designed to help local manufacturers improve efficiency, ensure product consistency, and meet evolving consumer demands for high-quality chocolate products."
During Chocoshow 2025, Semmco held in-depth discussions with over 50 local enterprises and signed preliminary cooperation intentions with 8 Colombian manufacturers. The exhibition also provided the Chinese firm with a platform to learn about local industry trends, such as the rising demand for sustainable and innovative chocolate production solutions. As Colombia aims to strengthen its position as a key cocoa-producing nation, Semmco's advanced technology is expected to support the modernization of the country's chocolate production chain.
Chocoshow 2025 attracted thousands of attendees, featuring technical seminars, cocoa tastings, and cultural displays highlighting Colombia's cocoa heritage. Semmco's participation underscores the growing collaboration between Chinese food machinery manufacturers and Latin American agricultural and food processing industries.
